Hi everyone! My name is Elizabeth Roseman. I will be graduating in the spring from the University of Maryland in College Park with my BA in Elementary Education and a minor in Human Development. I was born and raised in Birmingham, AL and only came up "north" to attend college. I ended up falling in love with Washington, D.C. (my idea of the big city!) and plan on teaching in the area for the next few years. I absolutely love what I've chosen to do with my life and cannot imagine doing anything else! I've been teaching, or at least around kids, for most of my life. My mom was a substitute teacher for preschool and elementary students and always brought me along when I had a day off from school. I've been a camp counselor for as many summers as I can remember until I began attending college. I've taught Sunday School for 4th-6th graders at my local synagogue in high school and was a tutor last semester for 3rd graders through a program called Kid Power, Inc. at a local school in Washington, D.C. I spent a semester teaching once a week at Stonegate Elementary School in Silver Spring, MD, and am so excited to be a part of Ms. Warek's classroom this year!
